Chocolate is "hippening”. Bean to bar, sustainable, fair, slave-free, single origin, pure, raw and in a milky way. Producers, brands, manufacturers and stores each claim their ‘choc’ to be unique. There are so many claims to be special going around; it makes the real chocolate dizzy.

 

Pure dark

Zoen fresh milled Chocolate’ goes back to the roots of cacao. We love the dark and think pure. For us, dark chocolate is nothing more (and less) than chocolate that:

 

- has been touched as little as possible

- isn’t industrial, but man-made

- is made from slow, light roasted single origin Criollo-Trinitario beans or nibs

- grown by farmers we know personally

- and consists of fresh milled 100% cacao

- with only a touch of raw sweet cane sugar

 

From tree to taste, our cocoa is minimally processed. Hence you meet and eat chocolate the way it should be, retaining all its natural flavors.

 

Fresh (milled)

Our premium beans come from small, Latin-American farmers who grow them near the rainforests of Nicaragua, Honduras and Colombia. In Holland we fresh mill these delicate beans in our chocolate labs and in ‘our’ stores. The 100% pure cocoa paste is then used for creating varieties like "Nutty Cranberries ',' Seasalty Lavender 'and' Nib 'n Coffee'.

 

Personalized chocolate

For real chocolaties we customize and make their tastiest dreams come true on the spot. The latest trend in pure and dark chocolate? The growing enthusiasm for our 100% cocoa bar. We call this purest of all chocolates ‘Choc & Awe’.

 

100% 

The unique approach of ‘Zoen fresh milled Chocolate’ takes the brown gold back to where it all started, centuries ago: chocolate made from 100% fine flavor cocoa. No "at least 35% cocoa” you read on chocolate wrappers but 66, 79 or 100% first-class cocoa from a single origin beans. Pure and without – besides the sweet kiss of raw cane sugar – any additives.

With Zoen  - which by the way means kiss in Dutch – you invite the aroma of fresh milled cocoa and the sensation of ‘home made’ chocolate into your store. Sounds good? We offer two kinds of partnerships:

 

1. Zoen fresh milled 66, 79 or 100% cocoa paste to make your chocolate in-house

2. Zoen Criollo-Trinitario nibs including a machine to fresh mill on the spot

 

Besides cocoa paste, nibs and a machine, Zoen of course also offers you recipes, ingredients and assistance for fresh milling and making your own paste and chocolate varieties.
